Burmese

I got my first Burmese mouse as a part of a quad pairing from another West Coast breeder. The line originated from Trillium Mice, a well known Siamese and Self breeder. I bred her to a Siamese and got a beautiful Blue Burmese, to which I entered in a show and won my first honors, "Best In Show" with him.  I was curious about working with the variety more after that but being a heterozygous variety, it came with its challenges.

Eventually, over time, I decided to simply focus on Siamese and let go of my Burmese. Between the line getting occasionally sick, not breeding well, producing malnourished litters, and not breeding true, I decided to give up on Burmese altogether.
